Snowy Hydro operates the Snowy Mountains Scheme, along with other power assets across NSW, Victoria and South Australia. Snowy Hydro provides electricity to over one million homes through its retail business. Snowy 2.0 will supercharge the Snowy Schemes existing hydro electric generation and large scale storage capabilities and add 2000 megawatts of energy generation and provide 175 hours of storage for the national electricity market.
IPDA is proud to continue its association with Snowy 2.0 continuing on from the recent Levels 3 and 4 works and refurbishment of Discovery Centre, IPDA were asked to upgrade the Level 3 Staff Recreational area known as ‘Interchange’ almost doubling its size to cater for the increase in staff numbers and usage.
Working together with the Studio Collaborative, the result is an environment which reflects the Snowy 2.0 culture. The new fresh, bright, open plan atmosphere that has been created to promote a culture of collaboration and team effort.
