Having built a strong platform for growth, Diageo invited IPDA to assist in the complete refurbishment of its Huntingwood NSW plant, following our successful earlier appointment to the fit out of a new corporate office at Docklands, Melbourne.
Our briefs were to refurbish Diageo’s existing office complex in Huntingwood NSW and to construct a new office space in Melbourne’s Docklands area, embracing the heritage aspect of the 100 year old wool store building which had recently undergone a major refurbishment.
Working closely with Project Managers Spitfire Control and the Heritage Council of Victoria, our client’s requirements for a unique fit out which embraces both a modern and casual fit out was achieved with an impressive result for an iconic building.
We worked in collaboration with interior designers The World Is Round for the Victorian project and The Bold Collective for the Huntingwood project to deliver a design and fit that reflect Diageo branding through the use of bold colour and feature graphics. In Huntingwood, our works included a complete makeover with new furniture, tea room, ceilings and floor finishes. The final products both fitted their brief for a funky, cool, and relaxed working environment.
